People's Postcode Lottery launched in Great Britain in 2005 to raise funds for charities and good causes.

Nearly 20 years on, our players have raised more than £1.5 billion for thousands of charities and local good causes. Charities like Breast Cancer Now, Alzheimer’s Society, Guide Dogs, NSPCC, ActionAid and many more.

People's Postcode Lottery is part of the Postcode Lottery Group, an international private company owned by a non-profit foundation that combines business and ideals. The first Postcode Lottery was launched in the Netherlands in 1989. Today, there are also Postcode Lotteries in Sweden, Germany and Norway as well as Great Britain. Together, our purpose is to raise as much funding as possible for charities, from local community projects to large international NGOs.

In 2024, the Postcode Lottery Group strengthened its position as one of the largest private charity donors in the world, with charity partners receiving a record €969 million.
