People's Postcode Lottery launched in Great Britain in 2005 to raise funds for charities and good causes.
Nearly 20 years on, our players have now raised more than £1.3 billion for thousands of charities and local good causes. Charities like Breast Cancer Now, Alzheimer’s Society, Guide Dogs, NSPCC, ActionAid and many more.
People's Postcode Lottery is part of the Postcode Lottery Group, an international private company owned by a non-profit foundation that combines business and ideals. Since launching in the Netherlands in 1989, they have expanded the unique Postcode Lottery format to five countries. Together, our purpose is to raise as much funding as possible for charities, from local community projects to large international NGOs.
In 2023, the Postcode Lottery Group strengthened their position as one of the largest private charity donors in the world, with charity partners receiving €904 million.
With every golden envelope and prize won Postcode Lottery players do not just win for themselves, they win together with their neighbours and for their community.
