Funding boost to care for Scotland's wildlife

In 2024, we celebrated a new long-term funding partnership with the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Scottish SPCA).

The charity has a mission to improve the lives of all pets, wildlife and farmed animals in Scotland.

As Scotland's only all-animal rescue charity, it rescues and cares for animals right across Scotland.

Funding raised by players will help the Scottish SPCA wildlife team to rescue, rehabilitate and release thousands of wild animals.

That includes animals like Loris - a four-week-old pine marten, who had a pretty rough start in life.

Abandoned by her mum, Loris was found quivering and hiding out in a house with her three siblings in Spean Bridge, in the Highlands.

But thankfully the pine marten family was able to be taken in to the care of the Scottish SPCA, all thanks to money raised by People's Postcode Lottery players.
