Housekeeper cleaned up with £83,333 win
Housekeeper Beata Pett rushed home from work when her husband called to say the People’s Postcode Lottery team had arrived outside their home in the town of Tain, in the Scottish Highlands.
Beata won £83,333 when she and eight of her neighbours shared the £1 million Millionaire Street prize.
Her win will let the mum-of-two set up her very own bed and breakfast, as well as taking a family holiday to Florida and celebrating her upcoming 40th birthday in style.
£83,333 winner, Beata said:
It's mind-blowing and a life-changing amount of money. I’ve always dreamt of owning a little bed and breakfast – an idyllic, cosy house with a log-burning fireplace.
"Hopefully now that will happen. It will be something of my own that I can run and keep us going.
